Job Summary
Deliver life enrichment programs by planning and implementing activities that promote the creative, physical, spiritual, social, and mental wellbeing of participants. Assist with preparation and purchase of supplies, promote exercise and wellness initiatives, and execute excursions outside the primary community including driving participants. Observe and communicate resident needs and responses to programs, maintain participation records, and attend resident council meetings or care conferences as needed. Perform various clerical tasks and support ADLs as client needs demand. Requires a high school diploma, three months of public service experience, a Colorado MVR in good standing, and ability to handle objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. Full-time Saturday 8-hour shift in Clifton, CO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3+ months experience in a public service position
- Basic computer proficiency on MS Office
- Must possess a Colorado MVR in good standing
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to handle objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to handle objects up to 10 pounds frequently
- Must be available for Saturday shifts
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend and move intermittently during working hours
