Job Summary
Weekend-focused Life Enrichment Assistant role providing leadership for activities and social events for residents, including those with memory loss. Responsibilities include leading weekend activities and assisting with games, encouraging resident participation, building relationships, spending time with residents one-on-one and in small groups, helping plan activity calendars and events, maintaining supplies and a safe environment, and supporting residents’ emotional, social, and cognitive well-being. Requires compassion, dependability, teamwork, good communication, and basic computer skills; two+ years in activities or senior living preferred; HS diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license preferred; able to pass pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Two or more years of experience in activities or senior living (preferred, not required)
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, which includes a physical, TB test and drug screen
