Job Summary
Life Enrichment Assistant at a 5-star senior living community. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating activities (reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outside trips, and one-to-one visits), preparing monthly calendar/newsletter, purchasing supplies, distributing mail to residents, moving residents to recreational areas, and directing/training volunteers. Qualifications include a High School degree; one year of experience in a social or recreational program in a licensed health care setting is preferred, with backgrounds in music, art, drama, and dance therapy also preferred. Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 9am-5pm; Part-time, 16 hours/week. Benefits include 401K with company match, meal program, free meals, EAP, flexible hours, gym membership, and other employee perks.
