Job Summary
Full-time Life Enrichment Assistant at NHC Chattanooga, developing and implementing a wellness program for Long Term Care, Memory Care or Rehab residents. Responsible for creating daily meaningful activities to enhance quality of life, completing assessments and care plans, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Requires creativity, energy, compassion, and the ability to work with residents, families, and community partners. Work hours are 8:30am–5:00pm with some weekend/holiday hours. Skills include strong communication, teamwork with other departments, basic typing, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Publisher for calendars and newsletters.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Desire to work with seniors
- Creative, energetic, compassionate, and caring attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic typing and computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Publisher
