Job Summary
Plan and execute life enrichment activities that support the social welfare and interests of senior residents in a community setting. Assist the Life Enrichment Director with overall direction, communication, and execution of activities, while handling administrative tasks and maintaining high resident safety standards. Support proper setup, cleanup, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces, and attend outings to coordinate transportation and uphold safety practices. Actively support the 1440 culture and pillars, working independently and collaboratively with a team. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a Monday, Friday, and Saturday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
- Compassionate towards the senior population.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.
- Proficient in general computer skills.
- This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
- This position entails standing for long periods of time.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- This position requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
