Job Summary
Plan and implement programs and events providing residents an Acts Signature Experience incorporating wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality. Actively ensure residents of differing cognitive and functional levels have opportunities for meaningful engagement consistent with Acts Engaged Living Philosophy. Support the Life Enrichment Coordinator in designing activities informed by Montessori principles of resident empowerment, based on personal history and preferences expressed in residents' "My Story." This role supports the Life Enrichment Coordinator in our assisted living neighborhood. Candidates must have at least one year of activities/recreation experience and obtain Dementia engagement certification within one year. We offer a starting rate of $15.58 - $18.45 per hour with benefits including tuition reimbursement, commuter benefits, and a 4% 401(k) match after one year.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year activities/recreation experience
- Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment)
- Current or eligible for certification in CPR
