Job Summary
Plan, organize and lead engaging recreational activities for residents or program participants; safely operate a van to transport individuals to and from appointments, outings, and events; assist with loading and unloading passengers including those with mobility challenges; maintain a clean, well-organized activities area and van; ensure safety protocols are followed during activities and transportation; collaborate with team members to create a positive environment; keep accurate records of activities attendance and transportation logs; perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Physical fitness to assist with activities and mobility support (bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
