Job Summary
Create and develop programs that meet the individualized needs of the resident population at the community. Collaborate with other assistants to develop a monthly calendar using the Partnership Profile and involve associates in activities of interest. Coordinate with outside agencies to enhance the resident experience and plan trips appropriate for residents with memory loss. Assure that specific ARTIS programs are held as designated and provide information to the Director of Life Enrichment regarding resident engagement to assist with personalized care plans. Maintain communication with family members regarding participation levels and support the volunteer program through screening, orienting, training, supervising, and evaluating volunteers. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; offers $22.25/hour with every other weekend required.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with Alzheimer's/Dementia
- Willingness to work with the elderly population
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
