Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one meetings with students to set goals, create action plans, and connect them to resources for removing educational barriers. Utilize coaching strategies to build rapport, assess performance and life challenges, and modify academic and employability goals to help students reach their full potential. Partner with academic teams and community agencies to identify specific steps reducing barriers, track relevant data, and drive outcomes through informed decision-making. Maintain a high-performance culture while participating in recruitment and outreach efforts. Requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology, human relations, or education, valid driver's license, and ability to travel to participants' homes and workplaces.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, human relations, social work, rehabilitation counseling, education, or related fields
- Valid driver's license
- Up-to-date auto insurance
- Good driving record
- Working knowledge of G Suite and MS Office
- Working knowledge of student information systems
- Willingness to travel to participants' homes, workplaces, community centers, and other venues at times that are convenient to individuals being served
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
