Life Coach- Excel Center Southeast (Indy)

Educational Life Coach at The Excel Center Southeast (Indy) guides students one-on-one to set goals, create action plans, connect to wrap-around resources, and remove barriers to educational progress. Builds rapport with students, applies coaching strategies, and collaborates with the College and Career Readiness Specialist to meet Indiana Academic Standards. Involves data tracking to inform decisions and interventions, outreach to community partners, and supporting post-secondary opportunities. Requires performing duties such as meeting with students, developing goals, and maintaining relationships with staff, families, and community resources; willingness to travel to participants’ homes as needed. Skills include strong communication, meeting facilitation, student engagement, collaboration, knowledge of G Suite and MS Office, student information systems, and a customer-service oriented, student-centered approach. Background screening and a valid driver’s license are required.
