Job Summary
Prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages by following recipes and adding garnish while serving members and customers. Check identification, accept payment, and answer questions during interactions. Maintain a clean environment by sanitizing the bar surface, cleaning furniture and equipment, and returning dishware. Restock liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients, and replace beer barrels. Reconcile the bar's cash register at the end of the shift. Requires high school diploma, one to two years of bartending experience, and alcohol serving certification. Wages start at $15.00 hourly, up to $18.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR/AED certification
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
