Job Summary
Develop engineering deliverables for Sales, customer acquisition, and servicing solutions involving Core Applications, underwriting engines, and workflow integrations. Partner with business product owners to drive target deliverables while leading technical delivery of assigned projects and guiding junior IT members. Contribute to the overall Policy Admin System architecture and design, providing best practice guidance and patterns for product launches and enhancements. Maintain awareness of the Insurance/Financial Industries latest updates to support user needs and recommend proper solutions for challenges. Work closely with delivery leads and technical team members to define technical designs, control timelines, and oversee middleware integration across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Life Policy admins features and functionalities
- 5 - 7 years Insurance/Financial Industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years on Supporting Core Policy Admin systems especially Life Asia/Life400
- Knowledge of Surrounding applications like underwriting engine, Front end / mobile applications, and workflow
- Good experience in omnichannel Integration
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
- Knowledge of integrating with other surrounding applications around core application like Sales Portals, Workflow, and underwriting engines
- Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset paired with strong communication skills
- Very good conceptual and analytical skills
- High motivation to define process automation
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collaborative team environment
- Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology
- Bachelor Degree
- Min 4 years
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is an advantage
