Job Summary
Provide special education students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential; develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons to match student ability levels; work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity as assigned; collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD, implement instructional programs, assess learning styles, use varied instructional techniques including technology, modify curricula for students with special needs, participate in ARD meetings, select instructional media, supervise and plan for aides/volunteers, and maintain compliance with district and special education requirements; start August 2026 and work under district salary compensation plan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
