Job Summary
Lead and manage laser scanning projects from start to finish, performing on-site scanning with Faro, Leica, or Navvis scanners to capture precise data. Develop accurate 3D models in Revit from scan data and oversee the production of 2D drawings, point clouds, and BIM models. Coordinate project progress in the office and on-site, collaborate with internal teams and external sub-consultants, and serve as the primary client contact. Manage hardware, software, and resource requirements while developing detailed project estimates and monitoring budgets and schedules. Ensure milestones are met and quality standards are upheld throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in laser scanning, surveying, or BIM
- Proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling and project documentation
- Experience with Faro, Leica, or Navvis scanners for on-site scanning
- Familiarity with FaroScene, Autodesk ReCap for processing point cloud data
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel to job sites when necessary
- Ability to pick up and move scanning gear, like the scanner, tripod, and targets, weighing about 40 pounds during your workday
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- PMP or relevant project management credentials are advantageous
