Job Summary
Weekend LPN Weekend Warrior provides direct nursing care in a long-term care/assisted living setting on weekend shifts. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with ADLs, responding to residents' needs and emergencies, documenting care in the EHR, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaborates with CNAs, RNs, and other healthcare professionals; participates in handovers and care planning, and supports resident advocacy and family communication. Requires graduation from an accredited LPN program and current active LPN license; prior healthcare/long-term care experience is preferred. Skills include strong clinical assessment, effective communication, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and proficient use of EHR systems.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Previous experience in healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting preferred but not required
