Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents on weekends, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living. Respond promptly to emergencies and report condition changes to the supervising RN or physician. Accurately document all care activities in the electronic health record system and participate in shift handovers. Collaborate with the care team to ensure resident needs are met while advocating for their preferences and communicating with families. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Weekend shifts only; current LPN license required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
