Licensing Marketing Manager

Job Summary
Manage day-to-day communication with assigned licensors, handling concept approvals, line lists, and sales requests while driving performance reviews and business summits. Own the operational health of licensor programs from sample approvals through royalty tracking, ensuring contract compliance and flagging issues early for corrective action. Review product concepts, artwork, and marketing assets for brand, legal, and quality standards, routing submissions through established workflows to maintain consistency across the marketplace. Coordinate approvals against production timelines and seasonal demand spikes, aligning launches with manufacturing schedules and FDA/GMP labeling standards. Support internal teams with sell sheets, content calendars, and IP updates, partnering with Finance on royalty reconciliation and forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of licensing, account management, or equivalent experience
- Experience managing product, packaging, and marketing approvals directly with licensors
- Strong project management skills—able to juggle competing deadlines across multiple licensors
- Confident presenting to internal teams and leading calls with external partners
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
- Familiarity with licensing contract structures (royalties, guarantees, territories, channels) and workflows
- Experience with royalty and product-approval platforms or licensing management systems
- Understanding of retail seasonality and manufacturing lead times
