Job Summary
Oklo is seeking a Licensing Manager to apply nuclear regulatory knowledge to support licensing for advanced fission reactor technologies. This role involves coordinating licensing activities, interfacing with design engineers and regulators, and preparing and defending licensing documents and regulatory positions to meet 10 CFR 50/52 requirements.
Required Qualifications
- BS in engineering from an accredited college or university (experience may qualify)
- Proven coordination skills; ability to earn the trust of team members and management
- Excellent verbal, written communication/presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52, NRC Regulatory Guides and other regulatory guidance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Willingness to collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver licensing deliverables
Desired Qualifications
- Experience communicating licensing strategy to internal stakeholders
- Experience with regulatory submissions and licensing strategies for nuclear systems
- Project management experience coordinating licensing deliverables and schedules
- Ability to translate regulatory decisions into licensing deliverables
- Experience interacting with NRC or nuclear regulators
- Knowledge of nuclear regulatory guidelines beyond 10 CFR 50/52
