Licensing Engineer

Job Summary
This role involves conducting technical analysis of patents and portfolios to support licensing and acquisition activities, evaluating patents for industry applicability, and assisting with patent portfolio acquisitions. Candidates will provide technical support for licensing, maintain technical databases, and partake in reverse engineering and analysis of commercial products. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required, along with strong analytical skills and an interest in wireless technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in wireless, telecommunications, and emerging technologies
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to wireless standards (e.g., 3GPP, Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G)
- Experience with data analysis, scripting, or technical research
- Familiarity with patents or intellectual property
