Job Summary
Coordinate county ordinances for short-term rentals, solid waste collection, and compliance programs, including contracting, open records, and fee collection. Review applications for rental certificates and trash services, manage vendor complaints, and maintain a residential unit database with GIS and assessor departments. Calculate taxes and penalties, process payments, and generate daily deposit reports. Build and maintain an online application portal using technical skills to visualize workflows. Perform financial reviews, analyze operational data, monitor billing, and participate in budget development. Monitor state and federal legislation impacts and resolve operational problems while keeping the director apprised. Requires a baccalaureate degree, one to two years of relevant experience, and a valid Georgia driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
- Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
