Job Summary
Licensing Case Manager responsible for recruitment, certification, licensing, supervision and retention of foster homes; conducts home evaluations and annual reassessments; represents the agency in court and testifies on case progress; conducts foster parent orientation and ongoing training; develops case plans, writes case reports, maintains case records, and completes required documentation within DHHS timeframes; maintains licensing compliance and safety through in-home licensing inspections; interacts with foster care staff to ensure licensing standards and policy adherence; requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and Foster Care Licensing certification; CWTI training and PRIDE trainer credentials are preferred; strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human behavioral science (e.g., Social Work) with 1-3 years’ experience in a social services agency
- Foster Care Licensing certification
- Child Welfare Training Institute (CWTI) training preferred
- Certified PRIDE trainer preferred
