Job Summary
Conduct commercial market, unmet need, patentability, and stage of development assessments on early stage medical innovations. Interface with Mass General Brigham clinicians, investigators, and innovators in assigned disease domains or therapeutic modalities. Assist with intellectual property portfolio management, including patent prosecution and drafting of intellectual property agreements. Shadow and contribute to deal-making strategies to optimize commercial impact of Mass General Brigham discoveries. Engage with potential licensees, investors, and collaborators to drive commercialization of breakthroughs from the System's faculty and hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- PhD with strong interest in the commercialization of early-stage healthcare innovations
- Masters degree in business, law or sciences
- minimum of 1 year of directly relevant business development, IP management, or technology commercialization

- Curiosity with deep interest in learning about new technologies, inventions and deal process
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize effectively and concurrently manage multiple opportunities and relationships with competing deadlines
- Exceptional verbal, writing, presentation and analytical skills
