Job Summary
Licensing Associate to support regulatory, licensing and safety analysis efforts. This role focuses on technical writing and document preparation, serving as a working-level bridge between Licensing and Engineering teams. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and managing regulatory documentation; translating technical content into clear regulatory submissions; conducting spreadsheet analysis (data collection, modeling, reporting); researching evolving licensing requirements; collaborating with engineering, legal, and project teams; and maintaining organized records for licensing and regulatory filings.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing, licensing, regulatory affairs, safety analysis, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline
- Familiarity with licensing and regulatory processes in the energy or infrastructure sectors
- Strong analytical skills with exposure to probabilistic safety analysis or quantitative risk assessment preferred
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills
- Disciplined and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Based in Austin, TX (or willing to relocate)
