Job Summary
Licensing Assistant- Receptionist position at the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, guiding inquiries to appropriate staff, answering questions about gaming license applications and the licensing process, collecting applicant materials, verifying addresses, photographing licensees, generating badges and license cards, updating the Pryme system, and providing clerical support across departments. Must assist applicants in navigating the Pryme system, handle badge-related logistics, and maintain accurate records. Requires a High School Diploma or GED with two years of related experience, willingness to drive as needed, knowledge of gaming regulations, ability to work independently, strong data-entry and organizational skills, and a CJIS security clearance. On-site role located in Grand Ronde, Oregon; environment involves interaction with the public and confidential information, with potential routine travel and safety/compliance responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and two years of related experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Knowledge of gaming regulations preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to read, interpret and work with legal documents and governmental regulations
- CJIS security clearance required
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License (ODL) or ability to obtain one
- Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
- Confidentiality agreement and adherence to Code of Ethics
