Job Summary
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and provide professional guidance to non-professional unit staff. Oversee medication management to ensure supplies are adequate and handled per policy while providing direct patient care alongside other unit nurses. Identify educational needs of the staff and develop training to address them with the Nurse Educator. Deliver compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective health care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and employees. Requires one year of nurse management experience, current licensure, and BLS/CPR certification. Salary range is $34.00 - $37.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state
- At least one year of nurse management experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
