Job Summary
Assist with pre-op and post-op visits, surgical procedures, and laser safety protocols while educating patients on recovery bundles and clinic protocols. Monitor patient responses, escalate concerns to RNs or physicians, and maintain accurate intraoperative documentation including Time Outs and surgical notes. Prepare OR setups, manage medical supplies, and support sterilization and equipment handling in compliance with OSHA and AAAHC standards. Track patient confidentiality and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and clinic performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program
- current state licensure
- Active Compact Nursing License
- Maintains active license and meets renewal requirements
- ACLS certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in electronic health records
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work on feet
- Ability to manage high-paced clinical environments
- Demonstrated reasoning
- Demonstrated math aptitude
- Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude
Desired Qualifications
- Preference to have Post Op and/or OR Circulator experience
- Candidates who can reliably commute to the office each day
