Job Summary
Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician on the night shift. Administer medications and treatments, monitor and document patient status, and assist with assessments and care planning. Deliver safe, patient-centered care to adolescent through geriatric patients while providing education and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. This new graduate role offers hands-on experience in a supportive Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at a 145-bed acute care hospital. Candidates must hold a current California LVN license, IV Therapy certification, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current California LVN License
- IV Therapy Certification (or completion of a California-approved IV Therapy Course)
- Current BLS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- MAB Certification (required within 30 days of hire)
