Job Summary
Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a Medical Surgical unit at Medical City Arlington. Provide focused nursing care for patients with complex needs by administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions such as cardiac monitoring or respiratory support. Closely observe patients for changes in status and escalate concerns to support early intervention. Document timely updates to coordinate care in a high-acuity environment. Educate patients and families about conditions and recovery steps, and collaborate with RNs, providers, and specialists to guide patients from intensive care toward recovery.
Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date
- Vocational School Graduate within 30 days of employment start date
- 1 year experience in nursing
