Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse Med Surg at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan (HCA Healthcare). Responsibilities include providing focused nursing care for patients with complex needs, administering medications, managing lines or drains, assisting with interventions such as cardiac monitoring or respiratory support, observing for changes and escalating as needed, documenting timely updates for care coordination, educating patients and families, and collaborating with RNs, providers, and specialists to guide transitions from ICU toward recovery.
Required Qualifications
- GVN Graduate Vocational Nurse, or LPN/LVN, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
