Job Summary
Lead Patient Care Coordinator role overseeing daily clinical and operational functions within wound care programs; provides leadership, mentorship, and ensures compliance with clinical protocols and documentation; acts as liaison between program staff and clinical leadership; supervises staff, supports onboarding and performance evaluations, and leads QA and process improvements. Responsibilities include overseeing MAs and QA staff, staffing coordination, training, escalation handling, huddle leadership, QA process oversight, documentation review (treatment logs, prior authorizations, ICD-10), QA data monitoring, workflow analysis, KPI alignment, and reporting to leadership; manages outsourced staff coordination and resource planning; strong communication with patients, providers, leadership, and external partners; experience in healthcare administration, QA, care coordination, and use of Excel/Outlook/SharePoint.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Medical Assisting, Healthcare Administration, LVN, EMT/dispatcher or related field preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or LVN preferred
