Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning, administer medications, and implement medical plans as directed by the Health Care Practitioner. Respond to emergencies and maintain safety through established protocols, while implementing nutrition and therapeutic diets and assisting with necessary medical procedures. Document nursing encounters and communicate critical information to healthcare staff and supervisory personnel. This Licensed Vocual Nurse role operates within a correctional setting, focusing on providing compassionate care to underserved and vulnerable individuals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state employed
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred
