Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Skilled Nursing, PRN

Conduct meaningful rounds of all residents, utilizing service plans and making rounds with physicians to record visits on charts. Administer intramuscular and sub-cutaneous injections, perform in-house testing procedures, and take vital signs while ensuring individual service plans are followed. Supervise aides by monitoring their work, assigning residents, and specifying break times and special duties. Document acute episodes or significant changes in resident status, receive or place calls to physicians, and follow through with orders. Work with Lifestyles Associates, RN Managers, and Nurse Aides to carry out the activities program and participate in staff meetings.
