Job Summary
Join Buckner Retirement Services as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a skilled nursing setting, engaging in vital nursing care responsibilities which include administering treatments, taking vital signs, and supervising aides. Ensure adherence to individual service plans while collaborating with the RN Manager and other staff to uphold excellent service standards. This role requires valid Texas LVN licensure and at least a high school diploma or GED, along with experience in a nursing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas licensure as licensed vocational nurse
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- High School diploma or GED plus one to two years of college or vocational school
Additional Requirements
- Ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously
- Requires bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing over 75% of shift
