Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to admitted units under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor. Utilize the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and provide interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization. Access community resources as needed. Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of residence, hold BLS certification, and complete crisis management training. One year of inpatient behavioral health experience is preferred. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth through the Education Advancement Program within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
- Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience
