Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN

Organize healthcare services consistent with CCHCS policies and procedures. Conduct basic hygiene, nursing care, medication administration, and disease prevention as ordered by the physician. Collect patient status information and report results to the Primary Care Provider or RN. Provide patient and youth education, document care accurately, and administer therapeutic measures. Clean equipment, obtain diagnostic specimens, and assist with clinic appointments including physical exams and minor surgeries. Monitor patient behavior to contribute to treatment planning and assist in training activities of daily living. Document nursing care and treatment responses in health records to facilitate continuity of care. Requires twelve months of recent direct patient care experience, a current California LVN license, and BLS certification. Morning and evening shifts available with temp-to-perm potential.
