Job Summary
A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in their residence, following physician orders and the nursing care plan under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include implementing nursing care plans, providing treatments and diagnostic procedures, observing patient conditions, and educating patients and families on care needs. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, licensed in California, and possess current CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved school of practical (vocational) nursing
- currently licensed in the state of California
- Current CPR certification
- Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Agency
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
Desired Qualifications
- (1) year experience in nursing is a plus
