Job Summary
Assist in identifying patient physical and environmental needs through documentation and clinical records. Participate in planning and implementing care under RN direction while providing infection control measures. Prepare regular clinical progress notes and summaries to assure continuity of quality patient care. Assist patients with activities of daily living and teach appropriate self-care techniques. Maintain a safe physical and emotional environment while upholding strict client confidentiality. Follow emergency procedures for catastrophic events or significant changes in patient condition. Requires current LVN license, CPR certification, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
- Proof of current LVN license
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an LVN in a clinical setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
