Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), provide patient care under RN supervision across facilities such as medical offices, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and schools. Take patient vitals, perform assessments, document progress, and report changes to the RN supervisor; administer medications and operate medical equipment; work with a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs and aides to deliver quality care. Must hold an active CA LVN license; 1 year of nursing experience preferred (minimum 6 months required). Flexible scheduling with per diem, contract, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire options; shifts include AM/PM and 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. with opportunities for CEUs and tuition benefits. Lift up to 35 pounds and meet pre-employment requirements (physical, TB test, background check, drug screen). Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
- active LVN license in CA
- one (1) year nursing experience preferred
- minimum of six (6) months nursing experience required
- ability to pass pre-hire physical, TB test, background check and drug screen
- lift at least 35 pounds
- knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
