Job Summary
Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, including gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age and population-appropriate manner. Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing other related duties as assigned. Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state of employment, along with required BLS and IV certifications. This full-time role offers opportunities for professional growth through the Education Advancement Program within a collaborative post-acute specialty environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
