Job Summary
Conduct independent home health visits, administering medications, performing venipuncture, and obtaining medical histories while documenting assessments and interventions. Monitor patient progress, recognize adverse conditions, and coordinate with physicians or emergency care when necessary. Perform diagnostic tests, administer vaccines, and troubleshoot minor test system issues per predetermined protocols. Complete weekly equipment checks in exam rooms and maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality. Drive to patient locations with a valid license and acceptable record.
Required Qualifications
- LVN License
- Blood Withdrawal Certification
- Blood Withdrawal / Phlebotomy experience
- A minimum of 6 months of LVN experience
- BLS with American Heart Association
- Valid CA Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and acceptable driving record
- Must be comfortable driving and making home health visits independently
- Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day per week
- Must be able to lift 50 - 60 lbs
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Patient bedside experience preferred (preferred but not required)
- Spanish speaking (preferred but not required)
