Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will prioritize resident service and ensure high-quality care for residents and their families. You will perform tasks including admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, conducting daily rounds to observe residents' physical and emotional status, administering medications, and monitoring care provided by unlicensed staff. Additionally, you will maintain confidentiality of resident information and promote a culture of safety. The role requires a current LVN licensure, strong communication and organizational skills, and basic computer knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- LVN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC)
