Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide patient care in the Burn ICU, assessing, delegating, and reviewing nursing care per the established philosophy. Responsibilities include ensuring continuity of care during shift transitions and caring for patients with various severities of burn and soft tissue injuries. Candidates must have a valid Texas LVN license, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Valid Texas LVN License/Eligible Compact License
- Must maintain a current BLS & ACLS certification from American Heart Association
- UMC IV therapy course required upon hire
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
