Job Summary
Provide nursing care according to individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments safely, and assess resident conditions within the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. Complete clinical documentation, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and therapy professionals, and assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges. Monitor and report changes in resident status, count controlled medications, and follow infection prevention and safety protocols. Participate in facility surveys, educate nursing personnel, and protect resident rights and confidentiality. Work day or night shifts with rotating weekends in a skilled nursing and memory care community offering comprehensive clinical services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Missouri
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
