Job Summary
Conduct daily nursing care for school-age children at Anahuac Middle School, including basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation support. Maintain accurate file records, develop databases, and write routine reports using word processing software. Provide 8.5 hours of coverage per day across a 175-day work calendar at a minimum rate of $24.00 per hour. One-year experience in a health-related position is required, with prior work with school-age children preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas license (LVN) issued by the Texas Board of Nursing
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) certificates
- Knowledge of basic first aid
- Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
- Ability to use software to develop databases and do word processing
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- One-year experience in health related position
