Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Charge Nurse in Harlingen, TX. Responsible for rounds, observing and documenting resident condition changes, administering medications, conducting rounds with the physician and recording visits, narcotic reconciliation, identifying condition changes, supervising aides, initiating and completing incident/accident reports, discharging residents, and performing Nursing Assessments prior to physician calls. Communicates with residents’ point of contact regarding status updates or changes in condition. May participate in special projects as assigned by the Director of Nurses and/or Administrator.
Required Qualifications
- Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
- Must be an active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
