Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) (84896)

The LVN Charge Nurse provides quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, including rounds to assess and document resident condition, execution of care plans, medication administration, narcotic reconciliation, and coordination with physicians. Responsible for incident/accident reporting, discharge processes, nursing assessments prior to physician calls, communication with residents’ family or designated contacts, supervising aides, and performing special projects as directed by nursing leadership. Requires Texas LVN license, completion of an LVN program, and preferred experience in a skilled nursing setting. Shift noted as 10pm-6am based on hints from the posting.
