Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will implement care plans for residents, provide total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent patients, administer medications, and perform treatments. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for individualized care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and providing education to residents and families. Candidates must possess an LVN certification, a valid state license, and at least 6 months of relevant work experience. Proficiency in patient care, emergency procedures, and effective communication skills is essential.
Required Qualifications
- LVN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid LVN licensure to practice in the state
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum 6 months prior LVN experience in the past 2 years in a general acute care hospital or equivalent competency
