Job Summary
Provide basic medical care under supervision; obtain and document vital signs, fasting status, pain and fatigue scales; access venous devices and perform aseptic techniques for central and peripheral venous access; obtain labs and study-specific specimens per schedule and protocol; perform ECGs; review medication lists; assist RNs/Physicians with procedures; prepare requisitions and supplies; maintain cleanliness of draw stations; inventory supplies; uphold nursing standards and patient safety in clinical trials and research settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS/ACLS or obtained within 90 days of employment
- Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse
