Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse provides professional nursing care to hospice patients in a home care setting, coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care. Responsibilities include completing evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the individualized care plan; timely documentation; following policies; maintaining continuity of patient care; IV catheter flushing; administering pain medication; turning patients. Typical duties require full range of motion and ability to assist patients in arising from exam tables and wheelchairs; may involve lifting up to 100 pounds. Shifts are 7pm-7am or 7am-7pm; immediate hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed vocational nurse licensed to practice in Texas (TX) with current TX registration and in good standing
- Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references
