Job Summary
Conduct home visiting nursing services in Southeast LA and surrounding areas as a California-Licensed Vocational Nurse. Manage time efficiently while working independently with patients in their homes, utilizing EMR systems like MyUnity where applicable. Maintain active licensure, current CPR certification, and required immunizations while operating a private vehicle with valid insurance. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within an established, Joint Commission Accredited agency serving the Los Angeles and Orange County communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active California LVN License
- Current CPR
- Driver's License
- Car Insurance
- Social Security Number
- Current Physical Exam and TB Test
- Immunization Records (Flu, Hep B, TDAP, MMR and Varicella)
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience, including Home Health or similar environment experience is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Familiarity with EMR systems (MyUnity experience is a plus)
- Being bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese)
- This opportunity is also open to a clinically experienced LVN who is a self-starter in home health
